Terms of Service

Who we are
Kemisu is run by Hustlebox, based in Ontario, Canada. These terms are an agreement between you and Hustlebox. By creating an account, or by joining a room or event as a guest, you agree to them.
Accounts and guests
There are two ways to use Kemisu. An account signs in with an email and password and runs rooms, links and events. A guest joins a room or event without an account.
If you hold an account, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Running events
If your account runs events or rooms, you are responsible for:
- Having the right to add each guest’s email address and to have Kemisu email them on your behalf, including under Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL).
- The text, images, decks and consent forms you add, and having the rights to them.
- How you use what guests share with you, such as their name and contact details.
You let us store and show that content so the service can work, for example on your event page and in your guests’ emails.
Acceptable use
Do not use Kemisu to:
- Harass, threaten or deceive anyone.
- Send spam or email people who did not agree to hear from you.
- Post anything unlawful or that you have no right to post.
- Get around limits, break security, or overload the service with automated requests.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Your first paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial: we take your card when it starts and charge it when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. You can cancel any time from your billing page. A cancelled plan keeps its features until the end of the period you paid for, then the account moves to the free plan. A plan cancelled during its free trial keeps its features until the trial ends, and nothing is charged. Each account gets one free trial: an account that has had a paid plan or a trial before is charged from the first day. Prices are listed on the Plans page. If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies.
The service as it is
We work to keep Kemisu running, but we provide it as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop parts of it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Hustlebox is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.
Ending your use
You can stop using Kemisu at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above changes when we do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
